2004-2011 Testvinnare.se/testwinner.co.uk
Ever since, the functionality has been expanding with new innovative aids, such as the first interactive buyers’ guide and a praised mobile service. The Swedish site has had more than 2 million unique visitors and has got company by its sisters, testwinner.co.uk, testsieger-de.com, testvindere.dk as well a horde of competitors copying the idea.
The environment consists of a Linux “LAMP”-server, PHP scripts, HTML, CSS, JavaScript with AJAX functions and uses the MVC architecture.
Except for the obvious experience from building database and web pages I have received valuable experience in internet marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing and cooperative economics/management.
2000 – 2004 Ericsson
The first two years I worked on developing operation and support system (OSS) for GSM och 3G (UMTS) networks.
The projects were huge, counting hundreds of developers over three continents, which demanded a potent software development model, we used an Ericsson adaptation of RUP. Programs were written in Java on Unix. We also made use of Extreme Programming in the inception/elaboration fase to rapidly build a testable design candidate.
After the big IT bubble burst I worked two years on Ericsson Microwave developing fighter jet radar simulators, as programmer, systems designer and subproject leader. Programs were written in C for built-in realtime systems.
I also lead the RUP implementation project on our department, managing requirements, planning and education.
Ericsson was a fantastic, dynamic place to work and very educative, especially on the software project management area. On top of all I had great colleagues!
1995 – 1999 Noventus Systems

Ordinary working days were combined with 16 hour support and sometimes emergency call outs as on one occasion when Austria had run out of stock of a life-saving medication used in organ transplants.
The job in Switzerland taught me a lot and was a great adventure allowing me to travel and explore Central Europe and Northern Italy. Furthermore I got to work with VAX/VMS and learn some “Schwitzerdütsch”
After two years in Switzerland, I worked in a project developing automatic road toll system, then cooperating with Saab Combitech, where I was involved in database optimization on a Oracle/Windows Visual C++ environment.
Noventus was my first encounter with larger systems than those you get to do in university. But first and foremost it was a fabulous time with good friends/colleagues and lots of freedom in the work.
